Fellow Minneapolis/St. Paul dwellers,

This Saturday, June 14th is the day to drop everything and embrace our fair cities with all you’ve got.  Bike, walk, run, train & bus your way through a host of activities and events happening from morning until well, the next morning.

Creative Enterprise Zone (CEZ) will be hosting a celebration on Saturday from 9:30a-4p for the much-anticipated opening of The Green Line.  There will be bands, food, activities and, of course, the sparkly new light rail.

In conjunction with CEZ, down the street at Forecast Public Art the last thirty seed packets of this season’s Sunflower Revolution will be dispersed.  They’re a smaller, DIY version of the screen printed and sewn packets we created earlier in spring.  Get ’em while you still can.

Why stop there?  Wait until the sun sets, then stay up all night at Northern Spark, the dusk to dawn festival held in Minneapolis this year along the river, over and under bridges and projected on tall buildings.  Pack some provisions (water, snacks, coffee, a flask), hop on your bike and you’re set.

See you out there!
